Phil Pomery
Highest score in a match: 70 (can't remember who against)
Best Bowling Figures: 7 for 54 off 23 overs (for local club in Western Australia when I was about 18 and wasn't a wayward bowler)
Best cricketing memory: Making my first 50 which went on to become 70
Worst cricketing memory: Playing a mid week match against Pheonix in 2000 and I was having one of those days where no matter what they dished up they couldn't get me out. John Dingle told me I was going to make a 100 and he was going to make 50 and then he ran me out the very next ball. Well he got half of it right as he made 50 odd. (Also see funniest cricketing moment)
Funniest Cricketing Moment: Last game of the 6's 2001 season in Rathmines v Knockharley in Leinster. Adam Scott opened the bowling from the carpark end. The Knockharley captain drove the first ball of the match to mid off where Bob Cramp was fielding. Bob duly ducked out of the way so as to avoid catching the ball and it went for 4. He ended up going on to make 120. This could also go down as a worst cricketing moment. Can also think of some involving the Ace but he's already cracked a couple of mentions.
Favourite Innings: 70 and other than that any innings where I got to bat with Justin Hevey in his one season at Leinster
Favourite International Cricketer: Gilly (thats Adam, not Gavin)
Best Teas in Ireland: Leinster
Favourite Ground: Leinster/Malahide
"The Inzamam Award for Temper Tantrums" goes to: In Western Australia, the award would go to a bloke aclled Perry Motteram, who whether he made 0 or 50 would have a massive psycho fit. For Leinster I would have to say Kenny Byrne has turned out some good ones.
Least favourite English cricketer(s): The whole team (bar Ed). Us Aussies love to hate the Poms!!
Hopes for my career: To make a hundred before I die
