Eimear Richardson

Highest score in a match: for the club, I think 72 against Pembroke in 2005, but highest overall 77* against Ulster Under 15's
Best Bowling Figures: I think it's 5 for 10 off 6.3 in 2006
Best cricketing memory: too many!! LCC Winning the Cup in 2006! But beating YMCA on the last ball of the match and Merrion in 2006 is a close second!
Worst cricketing memory: Few years ago getting my first golden duck in Columbas to Marianne Herbert of Malahide
Funniest Cricketing Moment:
Irish ladies against Balbriggan in 2006 and one of them comes into bowl and chucks it at me, and again and again- so our umpire says to the bowler- stop chucking and bowl!- he chucks it again thinking he’s doing nothing wrong-so she calls the Balbriggan captain over and explains that the bowler is chucking it and the captain goes “I don’t know what rule your talking about, there’s nothing that says you can’t bend your elbow!”….eh sorry!!!!!!
Favourite Innings: Years ago against YMCA in Trinity, my first decent division 1 knock, got about 30 /40 odd batting with Lara Molins, but getting 50* in LCC v Holland will always be up there!
Favourite International Cricketer: Daniel Vettori, Shane Warne, Andrew Symonds (c'mon the spinners!!), Karen Rolton
Best Teas in Ireland: Leinster Ladies, but the Pembroke BBQ is a very close 2nd!
Favourite Ground: Leinster, but love playing in Malahide
"The Inzamam Award for Temper Tantrums" goes to: I'm going to go with Luke Ginnell, even though i wasn't there, but the tale is legendary!!
Least favourite English cricketer(s): Geraint Jones, but not the biggest fan of Jon Lewis!
Hopes for my career:
Help LCC win the triple-40 over, League and Cup but personally get on that club list of 10,000 runs and 100 wickets (long term obviously)!! Be a successful international- help Ireland reach the 2009 World Cup, try to take 50 wickets and 500 runs in career!!
A short summary of me as a player:
Have a bat, have a bowl, sit in gully, and be loud!!
