Mens 2nd XI 2012

The promised land; the place where one's inner being will be tested; the division where careers will be made (and ended). The 2012 season will present a thousand challenges for the 2nds - the question is how many of them will be answered in a positive fashion.

That there is strength is depth is not questioned. It's long been known that Leinster is blessed with two dozen players of Division 2 quality. But which end of Division 2 will it be? At this stage (mid January) it's too hard to make a call. Who knows what players will come and go over the next couple of months? Is a top half finish out of the question? Is the main aim just to avoid relegation? Can the long drought in the Senior 2 Cup be quashed?
