LATEST LADIES NEWS - JUNE 3RD
Results - Thursday 3rd June - Not too much news coming in regarding Ladies results at the moment, but thanks to Rory MacMahon for news from the Ladies 3rds. They won their cup game against Pembroke, scoring 148-4 in their 20 overs. Pembroke then made 105-7 in reply. Hannah Ridgway was top scorer with 38, and Sophie MacMahon took 4-25 (at 13, the youngest captain of an adult team??).
Results - Monday 19th April - An earlier contender for allrounder of the year in Valmai Gee. The Ireland keeper, took two wickets as Trinity made 105-7 and then top scored with 29, but could not take the Ladies 2nds over the finishing line, as they lost by 4 runs
It's been a busy winter for Leinster's players with Eimear Richardson (Australia), Laura Delany and Melissa Scott Hayward (both India) all jetting off to sunnier climes to improve their game. Details of the 2010 season will be announced in the next few weeks. If you want to join the 2009 double trophy winners, please get in touch.
