| The Renno Ratings 2007 - Finally here's the stats for June It may be a good while ago, but if you can't remember June, it was the month when it rained a lot. As such there isn't a huge amount of change in the June Ratings, but those notable changes are highlighted below No change at the top of the batting, where retains his top spot, although with a slightly reduced rating. Anton Scholtz is bubbling und (remember this is two months old, expect an improvement next month), whilst JP O'Dwyer jumps up to 3rd on the back of 347 runs at 39, including that memorable blitz over Malahide. Further down, david Staunton is a big mover, jumping up to 12th place from 35th. Dave has certainly made his mark after returning to cricket last season. His rating includes 223 runs at 45, and has jumped to a personal best of 636 despite a hundred for the 6ths last season dropping off his rating. Those club pie chuckers had a fairly rough month of June, with very few managing to increase their rating. Their is one notable new entry though - Barrington Yearwood beaomes the 9th player to be the best bowler in the club since 2003. His top rating is almost entirely dependant on his debut against a poor Munster on a spiteful Mardyke track in April. The aberation, which was emphasised by his later performances, was rather harshly used as a reason to exclude Leinster from the DGM league, a desicion which personally still beggars belief.. Jonathan McNulty has risen up the sides this year, currently plying his trade in Rob O'Connor's potentially successful 4th team. An increase of 102 points sees McNulty move up to 19th place. As I dash off to cook some dinner, just time to report that Will Lennon maintains his lead in the allrounder's table, although the lead of 4 points over Anton Scholtz will come under pressure in July.
