Renno's Review 2007
League - On July 14th, the team were floundering with a record of Played 4, Won 1 (which in itself is an endictment of the season!), but as with
several other of the sides, the back end of the season was a bit more
successful. Of the last six games, only one was lost to give another
secure finish in Inter B.

Cup
- Casserly's men punched above their weight in the same cup that the
5ths play in. Wins over Wexford and Merrion set up a semi showdown with Sandyford, which proved to be a step too far.

It needs to be remembered that the 6ths are playing at their highest
ever level - (and they would have been promoted last year were it not for the ineptitude of the 2nds). It wasn't the most settled of squads, with
35 players playing in total, but plenty made contribtuions of note.
Sharma, Dunne, Casserly, Nagar, and Dixit all scored over 100 runs,
(and 11 players had a top score of 30 and over). At the other end of
the table, remarkably 13 players averaged 5 or less with the
bat. Singh, Dixit and Sharma shared the bulk of the bowling duties. All
in all a pretty good season, although probabkly too much reliance on
"those two little pals of mine", Dixit and Sharma.'
